Patina Miller, Heidi Blickenstaff Set for FIRST YOU DREAM

Patina Miller (Sister Act) and Heidi Blickenstaff ([title of show], Now. Here. This.) are set to star in the upcoming Kander & Ebb revue FIRST YOU DREAM at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. this summer.

FIRST YOU DREAM is replacing the originally scheduled new production of PAL JOEY.

This will be awesome and I'm sad that I won't be in town to see it.

That's So RAVEN! She's Joining SISTER ACT

It's official! After reports last month, Raven Symone (That's So Raven, The Cosby Show) will replace Patina Miller as Deloris van Cartier in Broadway's SISTER ACT, she just announced on The View!

Raven will begin performances on March 27th, but Patina will leave the production sooner on March 18th. I think Raven will be a good choice to replace Miller and I am excited to see how she does because only time will tell if she can make the transfer to Broadway!

Raven Symone to Join SISTER ACT?

In today's news, Disney Channel  and Cosby Show star Raven Symone is rumored to be joining the cast of Broadway's SISTER ACT. She would be taking over the lead role of Deloris van Cartier, the role Patina Miller originated and was Tony nominated for.

I think this casting actually makes sense and am kind of interested in finding out how she is in this sort of Broadway leading lady role.

Symone will join SISTER ACT in March 2012 for about six months.
